About this guide

ColoradoMountainRail.com is an independent guide to Colorado's mountain railways and to the tours that put you on them: what each one includes, how long you spend on the train and where it starts. We are not a railroad, Rocky Mountaineer, Amtrak, a tour operator or GetYourGuide: the site name describes what we write about.

Facts here are checked against the railroads' own pages (fares, seasons, classes of service, accessibility), Rocky Mountaineer, Amtrak and the tour listings on GetYourGuide, including recent guest reviews. Fares, schedules and seasons change; when a listing and this page disagree, the listing at checkout wins.

The site is funded by affiliate commissions: when you book through a GetYourGuide link here, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Our editors pick the tours on what suits which visitor. Details on the affiliate disclosure page.
